Quelle belle participation pour notre 250ème parkrun ce matin avec un chouilla moins de deux cents coureurs (189 pour être précis !).

Après un temps estival il y a juste une semaine, c'était un peu un choc pour le système de voir de la neige hier, mais le soleil était heureusement présent à l'appel ce matin pour ce qui s'est avéré être une très belle matinée !

Beaucoup de coureurs étaient ici pour une dernière séance d'entraînement léger avant le Marathon de Paris de demain, mais il y avait quand même quelques coureurs rapides, avec des félicitations particulières à Stefan (16'37), Anna (20'16) comme premier homme et première femme et aussi à Tracy en 22'39. Bien que ce dernier temps soit en tout cas très décent pour n'importe quel coureur, il est encore plus impressionnant pour une femme de 60-64 ans et elle est notre meilleur "classement par gradient d'âge" de la semaine avec 85%. Bravo !

What a great turnout for our 250th parkrun event this morning with just under two hundred runners (189 to be precise !).

After the positively summery weather just one week ago, it was a bit of a shock to the system to have snow yesterday, but the sun was thankfully out this morning for what turned out to be a beautiful morning!

Many runners were here for one final shake-out ahead of tomorrow's Paris Marathon but there were a few speedsters nonetheless, with particular well dones to Stefan (16'37), Anna (20'16) as first man and woman and also to Tracy in 22'39. While the time is in any case very decent for any runner, it's even more impressive for a 60-64 year old woman and she's our highest "age grading" of the week with 85%. Bravo!
