Le matin après la tempête qui a précédé... une merveilleuse occasion d'obtenir un PB sous un beau ciel bleu et des conditions fraîches et calmes. Tant que l'on pouvait éviter les détritus distribués par la tempête, et quelques chevaux...
Un week-end sans six nations a signifié que nous étions un peu moins nombreux, mais nous avons quand même vu une bonne cinquantaine de personnes courir/marcher le 5 km hebdomadaire, dont un bon nombre a pu profiter du soleil au café.
Félicitations à Jesse Versteegen pour son 100ème parkrun et à Tom Street pour un temps impressionnant pour un jeune. Bienvenue à tous les touristes qui ont réussi à braver la météo pour venir et bienvenue aussi à Zoé Lettelier et Marie-Line Nadir qui sont les dernières recrues de la famille parkrun !
Maintenant, il ne reste plus qu'à négocier la semaine à venir avant de recommencer. Rendez-vous samedi prochain !

The morning after the storm before…a wonderful opportunity to get a PB under beautiful blue skies and fresh, still conditions.  As long as one could avoid the detritus distributed by the storm, and some horses…
A non six nations weekend meant we were slightly down on numbers but still saw a reasonably healthy 50 people turn out to run/walk the weekly 5K, a good number of which were able to take advantage of the sunny outlook at the cafe.
Congratulations to Jesse Versteegen for his 100th parkrun and to Tom Street for a smashing time for a youngster.  Welcome to all the tourists that managed to battle the weather to get here and welcome also to Zoe Lettelier and Marie-Line Nadir who are the latest recruits to the parkrun family!
Now just a small matter of negotiating the week ahead before we get to do it all again.  Roll on next Saturday!!
