Ce n'était pas tout à fait Usain Bolt contre Tyson Gay, mais c'était tout de même une course jusqu'à l'arrivée pour James West et Matthieu Marshall aujourd'hui, avec Usain (James) qui a franchi la ligne en premier. Bravo à tous les deux, même si c'était peut-être plus un "blablarun" qu'un tête à tête puisqu'ils n'ont couru "que" en 19'28, mais c'est ça l'esprit du Parkrun !
Pas loin derrière, félicitations à l'adolescente Konstancja Litwak pour avoir été la première dame du jour en 21'01 !
En termes de "gradient d'âge" (essentiellement la qualité de votre performance par rapport aux meilleurs du monde à cet âge/ce genre), le premier des 52 coureurs de cette semaine (comme la plupart des semaines !) était Jean-Claude Pesenti, notre printanier octogénaire qui a terminé en 27'06.
Il y a eu un petit nombre de records cette semaine aussi : bien fait à Christopher (24'06), Rhoderic (27'52, première fois sous les 28 ce qui apparemment a failli le tuer) et David en 31'55.
Et un grand bienvenue à tous les nouveaux d'aujourd'hui : Cherry, Stéphane, Juliette, Beau, Ella, Spencer, Elizabeth, Greg, Paula, Rachel et Amon. Nous espérons vous revoir bientôt !

It wasn't quite Usain Bolt vs Tyson Gay, but it was all the same a dash to the finish for both James West and Matthieu Marshall today, with Usain (James) dipping across the line first. Well done to both, after what maybe have been more of a "chatty run" than a race as they "only" ran in 19'28, but that's what Parkrun is about!
Not far behind, well done to teenager Konstancja Litwak for being the first lady of the day in 21'01!
In terms of "age-grade" (essentially how good your performance is relative to the best in the world at that age/gender) top of this week's 52 runners (as per most weeks!) was Jean-Claude Pesenti, our springly 80+ year old who finished in 27'06.
